Spotlight: Open Source Technology & Management of Hazard Pay National Help Desk in 14 Districts for the National Ebola Response Center – The fight against the deadly virus, Ebola, was threatened by Ebola Response Workers strike actions: a consequent of payment delays, the misappropriation of donor funds and general ERWs dissatisfaction about payments.
In a bid to coordinate energies in the fight against the disease, the National Ebola Response Center and the UNDP led the effort for an automated ERWs Directory and Payment System. Spotlight: Deploying HRIS for the Sierra Leone Commercial Bank
As the Sierra Leone Commercial Bank expanded, with several branches, it became complex to manage the human side of the bank. This factor started to manifest in demotivated staff and poor output. SLCB contracted us to develop their human resource and payroll system in response to such a challenging scenario. The aim of this project was to provide the bank Human resource Information Systems that will be used to handle staff recruitment and selection, handle leaves, infraction, define contracts, manage staff appraisals, and payroll. Today the Sierra Leone Commercial Bank is able to efficiently track its employees at anytime and anywhere.
